Tolix Chair A, known also as the Marais A Chair, is an indisputable icon of French design created by Xavier Pauchard in 1927. The chair is also part of the collections of several museums such as MoMA in New York and Center Pompidou in Paris. This chair is suitable for outdoor use on the balcony, terrace or patio.

The trademark Tolix was registered already in 1927, and soon after, the brand's different models started spreading to factories, offices and hospitals, as well as outside on café terraces and in public parks.
